Transocean Limited proposes to acquire Valaris Limited via merger. Transocean shareholders will own approximately 53% and Valaris shareholders 47% of the combined entity. Both companies provide offshore contract drilling services globally, supplying rigs and crews to oil and gas customers for exploration and drilling activities.
CSR - Complete Plaster
CSR Building Products Limited proposes to acquire the business operations of Complete Plaster & Reo Pty Ltd. This transaction involves CSR, a manufacturer of light building products like plasterboard, acquiring a Port Macquarie-based plasterboard supply business that primarily distributes CSR's products. This is an asset sale.
EBOS - Paringa Pet Foods
EBOS Group Limited, via its subsidiary Pet Care Distributors Pty Ltd, proposes a 100% share acquisition of Paringa Pet Foods Pty Ltd. This transaction is in the animal care products sector, with EBOS a wholesaler and distributor, and Paringa Pet Foods a manufacturer and supplier of fresh, frozen, and cooked pet food.
Service Stream – RiE
Service Stream Limited, via a wholly owned subsidiary, proposes to acquire all shares in RiE Group Pty Ltd. This transaction involves Service Stream's Utilities division, providing asset lifecycle services for essential infrastructure, acquiring RiE Group, an industrial electrical and instrumentation provider to power generation, renewable energy, oil and gas, and utilities.
Equans - CV Services Group
Equans SAS, a global energy and technical services company, proposes to acquire 80% of the share capital of Australian technical services company, CV Services Group Pty Ltd. Both companies provide electrical, HVAC, facility management, and signage services, with Equans operating through a local subsidiary.

Tibaldi - South Food Group
Tibaldi (Aust) Pty Ltd acquired South Food Group. Both companies are Australian manufacturers and suppliers of pork smallgoods, providing a range of products to supermarket, retail, catering, and fast-food customers. South Food Group also undertakes toll manufacturing for other suppliers.
Endeavour Group – retail liquor store in Muswellbrook (NSW)
Endeavour Group Limited acquired substantially all assets of the Prince of Wales Hotel retail liquor store in Muswellbrook, NSW, from Upper Hunter Motors Pty Limited. This asset acquisition also included a leasehold interest from Jabetin Pty Limited for the Bottlemart-branded store premises. Endeavour Group operates BWS and Dan Murphy’s retail liquor stores.
Fulton Hogan – Avionics
Fulton Hogan Industries Pty Ltd acquired 100% of the shares in Avionics Holdings Pty Ltd. This transaction combines a civil construction and infrastructure provider, active in airfield pavement, with an Australian supplier and installer of aeronautical ground lighting and related services. The deal was approved.
Frasers Group – Accent Group
UK-based retail group Frasers Group plc is acquiring the remaining share capital in ASX-listed sports and lifestyle retailer Accent Group Limited via an on-market takeover bid. This transaction, involving two significant players in the sports and lifestyle retail sector, has been approved.

Hillhouse - MGI Dobbyn Carafa
Hillhouse Investment Management, Ltd. is acquiring 100% of the shares in Melbourne-based MGI Dobbyn Carafa Pty Ltd. This share acquisition expands Hillhouse's presence in the Australian accounting, tax, and corporate advisory services sector, building on its existing investments in related business services.

Opal HealthCare (DPG Services Pty Ltd and OHCA Property Holdings Pty Limited) acquired the assets, business, and land of two Melbourne residential aged care homes, Bethel Aged Care and Anzac Lodge (each 121 beds). The asset acquisition from Java Dale Pty Ltd and Bethel Amen Pty Ltd in the aged care sector was approved.
Magellan Financial Group - Barrenjoey
Australian financial services group Magellan Financial Group Ltd acquired the remaining shares in Barrenjoey Capital Partners Group Holdings Pty Limited, a financial services firm focused on M&A advisory and capital markets. This approved share acquisition involved equity in Magellan for full ownership.
Primary Wave - Kobalt
Music Publishing
Primary Wave KB Holdings, LP is acquiring substantially all interest units of Kobalt Music Group Topco L.P. from Francisco Partners Management, L.P. This unit sale involves a US-based music acquisition and publishing company and a digital royalty collection and music publishing administration company, operating in the music publishing industry.
Mastercard - BVNK
Other Auxiliary Finance and Investment Services
Global payments technology company Mastercard Incorporated International acquired stablecoin infrastructure provider BVNK Holdings Limited and B Corporation S.A.M (BVNK) via a share acquisition. BVNK enables customers to manage stablecoins and fiat currency. This transaction is in the auxiliary finance and investment services sector.
Restaurant Brands and Yum! Brands – Taco Bell restaurants
Takeaway Food Services
A joint venture between Restaurant Brands New Zealand Limited (60%) and Yum! Brands, Inc. (40%) will acquire 29 Taco Bell restaurants. The restaurants are being acquired from Restaurant Brands' subsidiary QSR Pty Ltd (9) and Collins Foods Subsidiary Pty Ltd (20) within takeaway food services.
Fujifilm – endoscopy distribution business in Australia

FUJIFILM Australia Pty Ltd will acquire the FUJIFILM-branded endoscopy distribution business assets from C.R. Kennedy & Company Pty Ltd. This two-stage asset acquisition brings the distribution of FUJIFILM's medical endoscopy products in-house, having previously been outsourced to C.R. Kennedy. The transaction concerns medical equipment distribution to the healthcare sector.

Global investment firm KKR proposes to acquire issued preference shares in Fresha.com Holding Inc. Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) subsidiaries are acquiring assets from Powerlink Queensland to oversee the CopperString Project. This asset transfer facilitates the development of new electricity transmission lines and substations in North and Northwest Queensland. Both Queensland Government-owned corporations are involved in this major infrastructure project.

AtkinsRéalis - WGA
Engineering Design and Engineering Consulting Services
AtkinsRéalis Group Inc., a Canadian engineering and construction company, acquired 100% of the shares in WGA Group Holdings Pty Ltd via a scheme of arrangement. WGA is an Australian and New Zealand multi-disciplinary engineering and project management consultancy firm. This transaction expands AtkinsRéalis's professional engineering and technical consultancy services in Australia.
Volt Managed Investment Trusts – HMC Energy Transition Platform
Other Electricity Generation | Financial Asset Investing | Other Auxiliary Finance and Investment Services
KKR-advised Volt Managed Investment Trusts invested A$355 million into HMC Capital Limited’s Energy Transition Platform. This involved acquiring loan notes and share warrants in Volt HoldCo, converting to a minority equity interest. The deal concerns electricity generation and storage assets within the electricity generation supply chain.

US pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly and Company will acquire 100% of the shares in US clinical-stage biotechnology company Kelonia Therapeutics, Inc. This share acquisition brings Kelonia's genetic medicines and oncology pipeline, including lentiviral-based in vivo CAR-T therapies, to Eli Lilly.
Ampol – EG Australia
Petroleum Refining and Petroleum Fuel Manufacturing | Petroleum Product Wholesaling | Fuel Retailing | Supermarket and Grocery Stores
Ampol Limited, an ASX-listed transport energy provider, has acquired convenience retailer EG Australia. Under a Share Purchase Agreement, Ampol will own and operate EG Australia's approximately 512 retail fuel and convenience sites, subject to proposed divestitures, expanding its existing network.
